Cinnamon for Creators

Overview

Cinnamon is a subscription-based video content platform that pays you for each second a Coil Member watches your content. Using a free Coil account, you can upload videos to Cinnamon, and Cinnamon will automatically web monetize them for you. There's no further setup on your end.

Free Coil account vs Coil Membership

Your free Coil account allows you to upload videos to Cinnamon. All you need to do is sign in to Cinnamon using your Coil username and password.

If you want to watch videos uploaded by other creators, you'll need a Coil Membership.

Sign in with Coil

Click the Try Cinnamon button on Cinnamon's site, then select Continue with Coil.

Continue with Coil button

If this is your first time signing in, you're asked to allow Cinnamon to connect to your Coil account.

Authorize Cinnamon to connect to Coil screen

You can revoke Cinnamon's access at any time through your Coil account's App settings.

Upload videos to Cinnamon

After you've signed in to Cinnamon, you're ready to upload your first video. Visit https://www.cinnamon.video/upload, select your file, and fill out the required fields.

If you mark your video as available for WM Subscribers only, then only Coil Members can view the content. Even if you make your video public, you'll still receive payment for each second Coil Members watch your content.

Add your videos to Coil's Blogs page

For wider visibility, you can embed your videos within blog posts or add links to your videos on Coil's Blogs page (https://coil.com/blogs).

See Coil Blogs for more information.
